Frederikshavn
The Danish term: frederikshavner, lit. 'Someone from Frederikshavn' is used to denote a quality plaice. It is probably the most popular fish eaten in Denmark.
Frederikshavn was originally called Fladstrand (lit. "Flat beach") from its location in Flade parish.
